By accessing or using RideSafety's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using RideSafety, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Recall Information
RideSafety provides vehicle recall information sourced from official databases, including NHTSA. We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee the completeness or timeliness of all recall data.
Monitoring Services
Our monitoring services automatically check for new recalls affecting your registered vehicles. Notifications are sent via email and through our platform.
Third-Party Data
Our services rely on data from government agencies and manufacturers. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or availability of third-party data sources.
Accurate Information
You must provide accurate Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) and contact information. Inaccurate information may result in missed recall notifications.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use our services for illegal purposes, to violate others' rights, or to interfere with the proper functioning of our platform.
Vehicle Ownership
While you can monitor any vehicle, you should only add vehicles you own or have permission to monitor. Respect others' privacy and property rights.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain continuous service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
Data Accuracy
While we use reliable data sources, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of recall information. Always verify recall information with official sources.
No Warranty
Our services are provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Emergency Situations
RideSafety is not an emergency service. If you experience immediate safety concerns with your vehicle, contact emergency services or your vehicle manufacturer directly.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RideSafety's liability is limited to the amount you paid for our services in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Indirect Damages
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
User Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold RideSafety harmless from claims arising from your use of our services, violation of these terms, or infringement of others' rights.
Free Services
Basic recall checking is provided free of charge. Premium features require a paid subscription with terms specified at the time of purchase.
Billing
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method for applicable fees and taxes.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Refunds
Refunds are provided according to our refund policy. Generally, we do not provide refunds for partial months of service.
Our Content
RideSafety owns or licenses all content, software, and materials on our platform. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a license to use it for providing and improving our services.
Trademarks
RideSafety and our logos are trademarks. You may not use our trademarks without written permission.
Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account settings. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred before termination.

We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms, illegal activity, or other reasons at our discretion, with or without notice.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your access to services will cease, and we may delete your account data according to our data retention policies.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution
